Hi, I'm Josh and this is my website, Really Jammy Biscuit. (no relation to the famous British treat) The original idea for this website was to host a portfolio of sound and movie editing bits. This is a hobby I've lacked focus with for many years, that I hope will get greater direction with greater visibility. However, as a computer science graduate who spent quite a portion of my student days studying web development, it felt like cheating to use other people's apps to create my website. Instead, I am using this as a platform for refreshing my web development skills, and to keep my hand in with programming. Yes, it is a little like reinventing the wheel, but you don't learn if you always rely on using other people's work! When I get the site up and running fully, I am looking forward to using it to host a portfolio of my programming skills in addition to my foray into AV experiments. Unfortunately, since leaving university I have had to get a job, like a real grown up, and so I have a lot less time than I would like to focus on my personal projects. So, this site is still very much a work in progress. I'm not much of a blogger, but in my projects section, under 'this website' you will (hopefully) find a list of the things I'm working on to improve the site. Happy browsing!
